Private sailboat cruises on the Hudson River never get old. Our latest cruise in October 2023 delighted many clients. We all enjoyed spectacular autumn colors and a view of the New York City skyline.
We were delighted to hold three separate house parties and welcome our clients for dinner, conversation, and even dancing.
Our first client “Talk and Walk” event was a success. Guests listened to an expert from the Rockefeller State Park Preserve about its history and special features, and then enjoyed a short hike.
URPG is a member of the Northern Westchester Geriatric Committee. Here with NWGC leadership, Peter was the guest speaker at the December 2022 meeting.
URPG’s community commitment includes supporting the Arts and we are a 2022-2023 sponsor of the Ossining Public Library Sunday Concert Series. All enjoyed The James Austin Trio in February.
During Financial Literacy Month, Peter presented a financial education program for women at the Briarcliff Manor Community Center.
Peter invited 14 clients to his home to enjoy a healthy harvest meal prepared by a local chef. Author of the “Clean Eating for Two” cookbook, Chef Mary Opfer shared nutritional information to remember at every meal.
URPG clients have shared with us that they appreciate our outreach in the communities where they live and work. For the second year in a row, Peter provided URPG sponsorship of a mentorship program for the My Brother’s Keeper chapter at Ossining High School featuring Reggie D. Ford (pictured, right), a LPL colleague who is a best-selling author and leading mental wellness advocate. Fifty students attended the program, held in October 2025.
